We've camped at several South Carolina state parks and have always had a great time. Can't say that I would change anything about any of the experiences.

Poinsett State Park was a wonderful surprise! Lots of great trails for hiking in an area with varied terrain, clean restrooms at the campground, very helpful staff, We'll be going back.

I took my boys tent camping at Sesquicentennial Park - awesome park. Sites were well maintained and there are a lot fun amenities: lake fishing, boat rentals, trails, horse shoes, basketball, bonfire areas, clean bath houses, wooded camping areas, helpful and friendly staff, and much more - one of the best park campgrounds we've been to. We're going back this fall.
