Students and Instructors were great!

I came in yesterday and I haven't gotten a hair cut in over a year. The Aveda Student that I had was Kylie, and she did an awesome job. A nice scalp treatment, shoulder/trap massage, and deep conditioning that went well with my colored hair. I love my new haircut how soft and healthy my hair feels. Definitely recommended for an awesome deal :)

Ask for a senior student

Be patient, you can be there a while. But its worth it. Teachers check in on the students periodically to ensure the quality.

Less products for some hair types, I have fine hair which always creates a problem when it comes to adding products. I loved my cut but I had to wash my hair again the next morning because it was so greasy.

I normally pay something similar for a haircut that is just a cut and style of my hair (they don't even wash your hair without you paying extra). Not so at Aveda. It is an experience from when you walk in: fabulous tea to greet you at the door, a massage and mini facial to help you relax (I chose the facial instead of a hand and shoulder massage), and a shampoo, cut, and style of your hair. And all for under $20? Beautiful! Megan R. is so passionate about what she does; I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to go to the High Street location!

The value for the $ was great - I've never had such a long hair appt for such a good price. However, the stylist told me I would get a scalp and shoulder massage and never massaged my shoulders. I also think communication could have been better as far as clarifying wants for the hair cut. Overall, it was very enjoyable and I would recommend.

First Impressions! Makes a world of difference. You guys are doing great though (for the two+ hours I was there)
