*Avoid tanning and direct sun exposure for two weeks prior to treatment. *Do not use any products containing retinoids, such as tretinoin 1 to 2 weeks before treatment, unless directed to by your clinician. *peel areas must be free of any open sores, lesions, or skin infections. * If prescribed oral antibiotics or an oral antiviral medication, start taking at least 24 hours before your chemical peel. *Sunscreen is mandatory for healing and optimal results.
