Spout jets shoot from beneath your feet, launching you from the water's surface, over boats and wildlife. But the experience doesn't hinge on magic or a bribe slipped to Aquaman. Instead, Fly Jet Sports' licensed instructors teach guests how to control their own FlyBoards—water-powered jetpacks strapped to boots and fueled by a current shot through a long, flexible hose. Instructors send FlyBoard users out off the coast of Dana Point, Newport Beach, and Long Beach with the skills to travel nearly 30 feet high or down to 8 feet below the surface. The boards also let their operators reach speeds up to 18.5 miles per hour when towed by a jet ski or chased by an amorous whale.

first timers should probably go to the newport beach location. it's in a bay so water is less choppy. water can be cold, so it's recommended that you wear a wetsuit. so much fun! such a great experience! instructors were great!

My friend and I had a great time flying. The manager was very accommodating.
Tip: don't forget to print and fill out the waiver form. They don't any have access to a computer or internet.

I gave this as a graduation gift to my niece and her college girl friend. They said it was one of the BEST experiences of their life! The guys were GREAT in their training technique and the girls picked up instantly what they needed to do. It was fun for them and fun for us to watch them FLY!!

It was awesome! A little skeptical going in, but turned out to be so much fun. I've been skydiving and this was cooler! I would definitely recommend trying it.

It was one of the most fun expriences ever. Definintely going back! Brandon and Trey were both awesome! I recommend fly boarding to everyone.

Brandon and Travis were extremely helpful in making this an amazing experience! Anyone can do this and they take the time to teach and make individuals feel comfortable. Highly recommend this company and their service!

My boyfriend and I had an amazing time jet boarding on Sunday!! Absolutely in love with flying on the jet board and the guys from fly jet sports are awesome!! Great teacher and made our time wonderful!!! I can't wait to fly with fly jet sports again!!
