The Cupcake Couture turns out sweet and savory gourmet cupcakes made entirely from scratch. The menu is extensive with several mouthwatering flavors—there's red velvet, chocolate chip cookie dough, turtle, and caramel oreo. But the bakers make savory cupcakes as well. One example is the Tailgate, with a base of Guinness beer cake topped with cheddar-cheese frosting and bacon. The shop will also take their shot at any flavor not on their menu upon customer request. Select cupcakes also come in mini sizes, and the sweetness here goes beyond the frosting and sugar—owner Michelle Axford enjoys working with charities, and has made cupcake contributions to Toast 2 Success and Touchdowns for Hope. The Cupcake Couture also helps make events special, with orders made for weddings, showers, and special events.
