About Southern Sky Yoga

In Sanskrit, yug, the origin of the word yoga, refers to the discipline of aligning the body and mind in order to reach a higher spiritual plane. With this philosophy in mind, the teachers at Southern Sky Yoga guide students as they arrange their bodies into the poses and meditative stances of their craft. The instructors teach classes separated by skill level, some lending greater focus to the mental or physical experience. During Vinyasa classes, students can explore more intricate poses, whereas YogaWave classes blend free-form dance and meditative poses. The 950-square-foot studio is equipped with blocks, blankets, and straps to use during class, and two adjacent changing rooms are available for guests to use before or after classes.
