This was a blast, I would absolutely do it again! Hydrate!

The class was small and we went over several maneuvers with two different swords. It DOES get hot in the room, so I suggest bringing another shirt or hand towel to help combat that during/after. As it is a beginners class, there might be things you already think you know or things that seem simple so you don’t need to pay attention. Don’t do that! It’s all important and if you DO happen to know what you’re doing, be curtious of the other people there because there’s a chance they’ve never done any of it. Very fun experience, 10/10 would do again. Worst part was the drive there and back and the need to get food immediately afterwards...

This was a birthday gift to my 13 year old son. He really liked it. The instructor was patient and thorough with the students and encouraging when they did well.

Learning to swordfight is wicked fun and the preceptors at the guild are all friendly and approachable. They do their best to be very inclusive and are open to feedback - either about the techniques themselves or their instruction methodology.

Had an absolutely wonderful time at The Guild Academy. I bought the private lesson for two for myself and my husband, as something new to do for date night. It was a blast and my husband would not stop talking about all the things he wanted to do next!
