About The Ice Ridge

If it takes place on synthetic ice, it's probably going down at The Ice Ridge. The Ice Ridge rink, made of eco-friendly panels that mimic real ice, hosts skaters of practically every age and experience level, whether they're taking classes or celebrating birthdays. The indoor space, encircled by the expansive square's blue walls, is kept safe thanks to the watchful eyes of instructors and supervisors. Skaters may embark on a variety of activities, learning to play hockey, socializing at on-ice fundraising events, or having an adventure after being kicked out for ice-fishing attempts. An onsite pro shop equips rink-goers with boots, blades, and services, such as repairs and fittings.

My kids took my 2 year old grandson and had a blast! They said there were lots of "limbs" going in odd directions but they had loads of fun and laughter! If you'd like a pic of my grandson on his ice skates with his dad - let me know! (I'll get their permission to share it with you first.)

It was a good place to take first time skaters as its easier to help beginners learn on. Good family time :)

Parents do NOT need to purchase tickets if they are not going to skate. You can walk on the "ice" with shoes on and it's not slick at all. Parents can help little kiddos on skates without needing to skate themselves!

Great place to introduce children to ice skating. The workers were friendly and very helpful in teaching our toddlers the basics to ice skating.

The idea of synthetic ice appealed to me with a 3 and 6-year old that don't know how to ice skate. The Ice Ridge is very small, which wasn't a huge deal. But it was like skating on a plastic cutting board in bad shape. I will not be returning there.

Was terrible. It's like trying to skate on plexiglass. It's impossible to actually skate on if you're going there to skate. Reeks like smoke, not many skate sizes. Waste of $17.
