About Semseg

SemSeg's Segway experts equip urban explorers to cruise through Detroit at up to 12.5 miles per hour during self-guided tours. A brief orientation covers proper techniques for turning, stopping, and impromptu jousting. Then, motorists hop aboard scooters and travel up to 24 miles on a single charge. The long battery life allows motorists to cruise down the Riverfront, circle 14-acre Hart Plaza, and crisscross the Rivard Plaza in a single trip. Though SemSeg encourages DIY tours, their guides lead weekend tours through downtown and down the Riverwalk.

Awesome areas to safely venture out on the semseg and see the downtown sights! Lots of "older" people trying it out and loving it, too.

We had a wonderful time. Machines were well care for, Dave taught us the tricks of driving a Segway and we were off to explore. Would be fun with a group since he has 10 machines. Riverwalk and Hart plaza was beautiful.

We went for my husband's 70th birthday, and had a ball. Easy to learn and very fun to ride. Rode from Joe Louis Arena to Mt. Elliot on the riverwalk. Will do Segway again for sure. Maybe not this one, but somewhere.
