A few years back, Heather Serna was at a crossroads where she felt that something was missing in her life. To help her solve the mystery, she began reading self-help books, and came across the practice and theory of yoga. The first yoga class Heather attended forever changed her life. Her interest in the discipline led her to Mysore India, where she studied and became authorized to teach Ashtanga yoga by R. Sharath Jois. As a certified yoga teacher, Heather guides students through Astanga yoga–a practice that pairs breathing with a series of poses to encourage sweating and detoxification.
