The gentle, sheen-coated stallions at Valcor Stables bond with riders and offer their strong backs for lessons, trail rides, and riding camps. Resident instructors teach riders how to command their steeds in the styles of Western and English riding and jumping during 30-minute and hour-long lessons on the safe training horses, identifiable by their willingness to raise a hoof when they know the answer to the teacher’s question. The experienced equestrians also lead riders around the grounds on trail rides, during which they’ll explore the woods and enjoy the fresh country air.
