About Gracie Jiu Jitsu Durham

Although Marty Josey's second-degree black belt is for kenpo karate, he has experience with an array of martial arts, including a certification for Gracie Combatives and jujitsu. He and his staff at Gracie Jiu Jitsu Durham teach the brazilian martial art of jujitsu to kids, adults, and Air Buds. In addition to improving self-defense tactics, Josey—a board-certified psychiatric nurse who spent time as a stress-management counselor and life coach—strives to boost his students' self-esteem.
