About Bistro Seasons

Mobilizing more than 25 years of catering experience, Rachel Hurn— owner of Seasons Bistro, Wine Bar & Catering—blends a Cajun-influenced eatery with a door-to-door catering service that earned a Bride's Choice Award from WeddingWire in 2010. Within the bistro, paninis and salads incorporate flashes of Louisianan flair, such as spiced shrimp, remoulade sauces, and improvised jazz steps. As diners nab forkfuls of Cajun shrimp buerre blanc, occasional live music wends its way through the dining room, complementing the complex notes of an extensive range of hand-selected wines. Alternatively, multicourse catered meals add a splash of elegance to both corporate and private events with formal place settings and French- and Italian-themed menus.

We felt completely deceived & misled by this deal. I was told I was purchasing a romantic cooking class for 2 for $50. Instead we watched a demonstration akin to the cookware salesmen at the state fair and received very small samples of several dishes. For $25 per person I would have expected an actual meal at the very least. It was very obvious that most of the other people in the room felt the same. They made a killing duping all of us that night but I am sure the majority of those people would never go back.

Make sure you advertise correctly for example when you are doing a food demonstration and tasting with auction in the middle don't call it a romantic cooking class for 2. Try to be prepared by welcoming guests into the activity rather then leaving them to figure out what to do or other guests to give instructions. Have all recipes written correctly and in a professional format, use glass plates, cups, and please provide a full set of silverware. we were given all tastings on paper goods with only a plastic spoon and fork to cut our stake with. Everyone and everything seemed to be running late. lastly I had to call and leave 3 messages just to register it was an overall disappointing evening.
