About Wings of the North

Wings of the North has been dedicated to preserving and presenting aviation history since 1998. They're best known for producing the flight-centric AirExpo every year, where aviation fanatics can meet legendary pilots and actually shake the hand of several vintage aircraft, including Wings of the North's own 1943 Vultee BT-15. When not on display at the AirExpos or for school presentations, the association keeps her in a 4,800-square-foot hangar.

Parking included, large grassy area that absorbs crowds easily. Lots of variety of planes, biplane and helicopter rides, food stands, etc. We found it interesting and enjoyable.

Fun times at the Air Expo EP. Plenty of free parking on site (no shuttles required), and then you can walk right in and enjoy the planes.

It was a great experience and they had planes in the air constantly - very entertaining if you like vintage planes. Next year I plan on taking the ride on the B17!

We enjoyed the day! Family of five, kids are 9,6,3 years old. Downside, unless you WANT to spend an additional $36 - bounce houses are very prominent, distracting the kids from original purpose of attending. I prefer the bounce houses disappear next year, or include a punch pass as part of the admission fee.

Great for younger children to understand the history of aviation in this country. Talk with actual pilots of the planes as they share their experiences.
