About Hawaiian Dreams Body Spa

Joanna Iris knows firsthand the transformative power of touch. While living in Hawaii, she trained in massage therapy at an aesthetics school in Honolulu and was certified in lomilomi, a deep and rhythmic method derived from ancient Polynesian practices for restoring mind-body balance. After training with her mentor, Shin-Tao Kimura, she learned to heal herself and others with the physical and mental benefits of massage. Iris transplanted her island knowledge to the mainland at Hawaiian Dreams Body Spa, and now has the opportunity to share some of the positive energy she found.

In addition to lomilomi and other massage techniques, Iris harmonizes complexions with alluring eyelash- and brow-tinting services and facials bolstered with actual 24-karat gold. She also tailors massages for children who are stressing over schoolwork, experiencing growth spurts, or rehabilitating before kickball season.
