Great tour. The guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and told some entertaining accounts of the events that took place in and around the saloons.

My husband, 7 y.o., and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour! Our barely 5 y.o. was a little anxious on the steeper-grade parts of the trail and had a little less patience than the subject matter called for, but he still enjoyed himself.

Wear sturdy shoes because you're wandering through the old graveyard. It was very historically informative. We liked it.

We did this easy hike with a guide last June and were the only ones on the hike. The guide shared a lot about mining history in the area as he pointed out mining equipment on Iowa Hill. Going in the restored miner's cabin at the top was a highlight.
