The best Asian food I've eaten anywhere in the Charleston metropolitan area. Its also the least expensive restaurant at which I've eaten in the area.

I was amazed at the size of the portions at the "larger portion price". Had the Thai Curry dish with shrimp and fried rice as well as the free salad bar for $9.00. The shrimp were large and flavorful not at all like the synthetic seafood you sometimes get. In all it was enough for a 2nd meal later. Went back 2 more times in the same week. Looks kind of crappy from the outside as it resides in the front of a parking lot of a "bombed out" old shopping center (Summerville do something with that place!) but don't let that stop you from trying it. The ambiance inside gives a sense of warmth. Staff was fun and attentive. Good luck KOI ASIAN CAFE - keep up the good work and wishing you the best success.
