Solar Heroes, a veteran-owned company, gives back to the community in many ways. The solar panels they install help customers save money, both by reducing customers' energy costs and by helping customers qualify for tax credits and rebates. Their work helps the environment as well by reducing pollution and the consumption of fossil fuels. In addition to the benefits of the solar panels themselves, the company also gives back by hiring veterans of all generations, from Vietnam vets to those returning from Iraq and Afghanistan, in order to help these heroes find work after returning from duty.
