About Christopher Gosch Underwater Photography

Christopher Gosch has filmed more than 25 televisions shows—as well as the first underwater reality show—at exotic locations around the globe. When he isn't crafting professional videos, he draws on more than two decades of experience to snap static images during underwater photo shoots. Before each session, skilled hair and makeup artists make people look like more attractive versions of themselves with waterproof makeup while a professional wardrobe team assembles costumes and props such as mermaid fins, hula-hoops, and angel wings. Once subjects achieve their chosen looks, they dive into a swimming pool with trained assistants, who provide step-by-step instructions while Chris captures maritime memories. In addition to portrait sessions for both adults and children, Christopher also takes watery group, engagement, and wedding photos—some of which can be viewed in his online gallery.
