About Pump It Up Baltimore, Howard County

Voted No. 4 in the Top 10 Birthday Chains for Kid Birthday Parties in 2010 by Parents magazine, Pump It Up sprawls over 11,000 square feet of play areas and party rooms teeming with inflatable fun. A stalwart staff oversees the neighborhood of bounce houses and air-filled playthings that populate the indoor arena, including a regal throne for celebrating birthdays or announcing edicts mandating dessert for breakfast. The ascending wall of the Vertical Rush challenges climbers with a hump-shaped obstacle, whereas attached dueling slides send victors careening into fun. A calendar of events details dates and times for open play and lectures on refinancing mortgages on family treehouses.

If you visit during a week where there might be a day camp going on, like over spring break or the summer months, it's best to visit for the open jump hours later in the day. Some campers leave around 2:30 and others who's parents need the after camp hours due to work, may pick up later. Anytime after 3 pm seems to be less crowded.

Some of the inflatables are a little bit rundown. Staff were nice and helpful. We went to an open play session but there was some sort of a preschool field trip and it was way too crowded. They should have not joined a specific group of that big with the general open play session. Very few spaces for parents to sit and wait.

not to go when there is a party going on. They will push you over to the side where there's not much going on. They don't know how to let everyone play together. Either close it to the public when party's going on or close it to the party's when the public is there. I think you need the money from them both. I will pay the price for both sides, but I will not let you push us to one side, if so I will never come back.!!!!!!!!!!!
