I've been playing there for 30 years, however its been several years since the last time. I've never seen the course in as great shape as this time......keep up the good work.

This course is in the best shape it has been in for several years. They are really investing in making this the ultimate "hidden gold mine" of golf on the North Shore. Peter Jan's Golf Course (it's real name) aka "Canal Shores" is a perfect course for all levels of skill and play. It offer wonderful views of the Wilmette and Evanston neighborhoods and if anyone would look back, it has a rich and wonderful history - which should be told more often. This is an undeniable asset for the community which will only get better with increased play. Enjoy. Tim McGuire

It was a great Par 3 course to play for someone who hasn't played in a long time. Having said that, at the time of my visit the greens were in quite a degraded state. Not sure I would recommend avid golfers. One green was even placed in the fairway which seemed pretty silly. You should just close that hole until repairs can be finished to actual green.
