I had a great time just wandering around, smelling everything and getting some cooking ideas. Everybody I talked to was really pleasant, laid-back and happy to help me find things or prepare small portions of spices. It's not the type of place I'd need to visit more than ~once a year, but I really look forward to going again.

Just walking into the shop is an enjoyable experience because of the aroma of the spices. The people are helpful and friendly and the spices are wonderful and varied. I first received a gift from there and have been giving gifts of spices and buying my own unusual spices there ever since.

What a difference extremely fresh spices make in cooking. Many times there are multiple varieties of spices from different countries and the premixed seasonings are terrific.
