Diligent staff

The office is modern and clean. Everyone I encountered was friendly, helpful, and efficient. I have a regular dentist already, but if I'm ever looking, I would start with Optimum Dental.

Disappointed in teeth whitening results, especially the top teeth. It seemed like the whitening lamp was not positioned correctly for the best result to occur. Performed by tech--lips became swollen and very sensitive. Dentist did not check results until I requested.

Had to break the appointment in two parts (this was kind of expected when the initial appointment was made) - one for the initial cleaning and one for the actual whitening. Still waiting to do the return trip for the whitening. For general dentistry, probably would not return. The hygenist who performed the cleaning was a bit more rough than am generally comfortable with. Dunno if it was just a bad day, or what, but didn't leave me wanting to drive the 25 minutes from Alexandria to Falls Church for those types of services. Whether we wish to return for further services will depend greatly on how the actual whitening experience goes.
