What began over 40 years ago as a bowling alley built in an old schoolhouse has since expanded into multi-level entertainment enclave known as RollAway Family Fun Center. In the second-floor roller skating rink, skaters glide across a glossy hardwood floor, cast in lights that flash to the beat of tunes spun by an on-site DJ. Below, on the first floor, players honor the center’s original purpose, sending pins a-clattering in the updated bowling alley. They should do the laser tag first when they get there then roller skate. We did at beginning of our last hour and then left before it was actually done because they did not want to put skates back on. They did have fun and are ready to go back.

The facility is super small, but what bothered me the most was the roller skates where in such bad condition. New stock would be nice.

Due to a website error, we showed up at a time when the Center was not open. One of the owners was nice and apologetic about the error, but the other was very rude. The building was freezing and the bathrooms were dirty. The equipment was broken for laser tag and we each went through two or three pairs of skates before we got ones that weren't deficient in some way. The business was affordable family fun. There was a birthday party there and it seemed like the kids were having a great time. The first impression is what stays with me though...
