There is a limited menu--some appetizers that were tasty and good burgers, for the most part The view from the dining room is splendid Be sure to check ahead for hours as restaurant may not always be open every day in off season (ie, when golfing is out of season) In good weather visit the effigy mounds park just next door

We tried 3 different versions of their fish fry, all were delicious I had the baked cod with drawn butter yum Make sure you have a reservation it was busy They also had a salad bar but they still need to work out some logistical kinks I would recommend this restaurant

Friday Night is their big night for fish and dinner entrees, all other nights they serve from their bar menu, burgers, etc The food was excellant

The lunch menu is fairly limited - not a lot of choices, but the food we had was delicious. The view from the dining room is out over the lake and is very pretty.

Very friendly staff and food is good. Just be sure to note what is included with your meal. We were missing our asparagus spears that were to be roasted on top our beef tips and was told they had changed the menu. If you are not including them the menu should not include them or at least offer another vegetable in its place. Out waitress asked the kitchen and they also said the menu had changed,but on her next trip into the kitchen our asparagus was sitting there waiting for us. On a previous visit we did not get asked if we wanted more fish, our plates were removed and have since checked to menu and as we thought it was supposed to be all you care to eat. Just be sure to read the menu carefully.
