About Vampire 5k

Far more than a simple jog in the moonlight, the Vampire 5K invites participants to join one of two eternally warring factions—vampires or humans—and settle the ancient blood feud in a heart-pounding race. When the two paths converge in the middle of the course, clans of black-clad monsters chase after the civilians dressed in white, converting them into vampires by pulling off their flags. To survive, humans must speed through obstacles such as fog and clouds of red powder until they reach the finish line, where they can celebrate their still-beating heart during an official after-party. Proceeds of the race benefit local blood donation centers, who help maintain a steady supply to hospitals so they can keep making wounded vampires' Jell-O.
