make sure you allow enough time to appreciate the museum a least 2 hrs.. Sounds like a long time but the time just flies by.

What a neat museum ... lots of neat artifacts, information and history. They provide personal audio devices that you activate as you tour through ... the staff were very friendly and helpful, checking on us periodically and providing additional information and answering questions. The rail car was very interesting ... you could almost imagine being a passenger as you look in all the nooks and crannies. The Cracker House was also interesting ... I can't imagine living like that ... but people did!

Fantastic! We spent hours there. I would not recomment for young children. Most of the exhibits have alot of reading and youngsters would likely be bored. Lots of historical exhibits. Particularly enjoyed learning about segregation & Civil Rights. Movement in FL . Thoroughly enjoyed our day

It's amazing how much is inside (and outside with the Crack House and Pullman Car) the museum. Exhibits go from the Age of dinosaurs through the Civil Rights movement and present an interesting study of the history of Florida.
