The lunch room/snack area makes it very nice to pack your own lunch or snack while there. We were just there, so we ate a light lunch while there, indoors. In the summer when we visit, we plan a picnic at the nearby park or eat outside at their tables. They do have vending machines with soda, snacks, water, etc. but we prefer to pack our own. Science Central is a fun place to spend an 3 to 4 hours.
