Very nice course, well laid out and challenging. Great day to play today but I will go earlier in the season before the leaves fall...wow there are a lot but we did well enough finding our shots.

Keep an eye on the ball or it gets lost in leaves

It seems the new people running the place care alot more than in the past. Friendly from purchase to snack bar. nice improvement

Not an easy course

Accuracy rather than distance is the key to this course. Excellent gold venue.

Decent course that gets a bad rap for its modular building (read 'no frills') clubhouse, old(er) golf carts, and varying conditions over the years. But in my experience over the past 2-3 years it has been a fun track, easily accessible, and probably too often over-looked for local (southwest Boston suburbs) play. For the same (full) price, you can locally find better maintained and more inviting locations (i.e. New England Country Club) but for a deal / afternoon play, Mapplegate is worth keeping in the rotation.

the driving range is run down along with their golf carts but the course and greens were in excellent condition. the greens are slower than some others

Nice course, in very good condition and in crowded during the week. Be prepared for slow greens (very good condition and they hold shots, but you need to putt firmly). I would play here again, as we got around without hurrying in 4 hours...
