What do you get for the recent Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame inductee who has everything? Well, if you're the daughter of Brenda Lee, you start by setting up a meeting with Priscilla Romans. The confectionary architect behind Cakes by Priscilla sat down with Ms. Lee's daughter to get to know Brenda. After intense brainstorming, Priscilla drew up the blueprints for a 2.5-foot Christmas-tree cake that rested on the foundation of Brenda Lee's holiday hit, "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree."

Whether there's a star encounter on the line or not, Priscilla puts the same level of planning, execution, and detail into all her custom cakes. Party planners start the process by choosing from a slate of traditional and unorthodox flavors—such as red velvet, vanilla spice, s'mores, and orange—and fillings including lemon, mocha, or swiss chocolate. From there, the only limitation is the client's imagination. Priscilla sculpts premium ingredients into animal-print top hats, shoulder bags complete with edible buckles and zippers, and lobsters. Beyond the custom-made delights, Priscilla whips up small-scale treats—namely, cinnamon bun cookies and Oreo cake pops.
