About Premier Athletics

For a class project while in the MBA program at the University of Tennessee, Boog Potter, Bill Asp, and Mike Martinez came up with an idea for a youth gymnastics gym. Their idea ultimately spawned Premier Athletics in 1994. Since then, the facility's supportive and experienced staff has been teaching cheerleading, tumbling, and pompom communication to youngsters. The gym has also expanded its concentration to include dance and gymnastics.

Great first time experience! The voaches were very nice snd taught my daughter things she had not been shown, after 8 months of being at her other place. We are definitely going to start going here!!

The place is really clean, and the instructors are very nice. However, the three year old class is slow, slow, slow. The kids didn't really burn any energy. At this age, I wish a little more time was spent letting the little kids burn energy running, jumping, etc. I spoke with other parents who had kids in the class, and they felt the same way. My friends who have kids in other gymnastics places say their three year olds are able to run, jump, etc. the entire time, and it is great exercise. With that said, if the tots classes could be altered to address the energy and attention span of three year olds, I would continue going. It is a nice facility!
