Having lived in Afghanistan, I can assure folks that this is authentic food that is similar to that found in the homes, which is always higher quality than that found in a restaurant there. Here, at Salang Pass Restaurant, you get home cooking in a restaurant. Everything is worth the price, but the dessert called "Jala" is worth the price of admission.

Yummy Afghani food. Have been going here for over 10 years now ... food is consistent in quality and taste. Luv their Bolani and lamb dishes. The chicken kabob are made to perfection.
