Wear good shoes for walking, especially if you want to hike down into the gorge to the bottom of the falls.

Make sure you call ahead to find out what the hours of operation actually are. They had a lot of conflicting information out there, and we ended up getting locked in the park. Luckily we could climb a fence and get out, but if you are not so athletically inclined, you could have some trouble getting out when they fail to check to see if everyone is out.

Great day trip, both my children (ages 4 and 9) loved it. You can ride the train as many times as you like around the park. The hike behind the falls is beautiful. Bring water, the vending machines were sold out. Great mini golf course and cute zoo.
