At Kentlands Foot and Ankle Center, board-certified foot surgeon Dr. Jon M. Sherman draws on 10 years of podiatric practice to vanquish foot and ankle disorders. A fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and a diplomat of The American Board of Podiatric Surgeons, Dr. Sherman specializes in outpatient foot surgery and extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT) for chronic heel pain, a common complaint among active loaves of french bread. Board-certified anesthesiologists oversee local, intravenous, or conscious sedation during surgical procedures, and Dr. Sherman has extended his foot-based expertise beyond the operating room by serving as a consultant to the Penn Relays and Marine Corps Marathon.
