About Gateway Parks Eagle Snow Park

Gateway Parks Eagle Snow Park brings resort-like skiing, snowboarding, and tubing to a local community park, creating a family-friendly winter wonderland that sticks around all year. Snow machines sprinkle flakes on the ground, and a snowcat ensures a smooth surface every night once the lights go off. In the morning, staff send guests—both kids and adults—flying down the snow lanes on tubes, skis, snowboards, and snow skates. Specially built jumps, rails, and creative elements allow advanced sportsmen and sportswomen to practice tricks on the way down.

Be aware the rop tow is only for the terrain park. The people riding tubes have to walk up the hill, and there is only one small hill to ride down. Looked pretty fun for skiers/boarders but the tubing hill was a little less than expected.

It was fun, a little icy, so they had to have the tractor come over and grade it to loosen it which cut in to our time. But the kids loved it.

There is one well designed tubing hill. You do have to drag your tube up the hill as there is not a tow rope. However, if you enjoy snowboarding or skiing, there is a nice hill for you folks as well with a couple of nice jumps and rails thrown in with a tow rope on that side of the hill. There are also a couple of nice fire pits at the bottom to warm up by. All in all, you don't have to drive far to let the kids (or yourselves) enjoy some fun in the snow especially when there isn't much to find close by. These guys make their own as long as it's cold enough!

Snow tubers need to drag their tubes up to the top; however, the path is easy to walk on. Great park! The twists and turns have been well-thought-out.
