About TeachArt2Me

Some might say Darci McHenry's qualified staff members make an unusual team: several specialize in hosting parties, and they are experienced temporary-tattoo artists and balloon twisters, and Darci holds years of experience as a face painter and art instructor. Together, these artists and planners helm TeachArt2Me's plethora of art-education programs for children from preschool up to ninth grade. They organize year-round themed art camps suited to each age group, which focus on disciplines in painting, drawing, collage making, sculpture, and environment-based science. They also coordinate children's birthday parties, which feature craft projects based on a chosen theme, such as learning to draw comics or emulate Picasso's Blue Period.

Staff was friendly. Just the right amount of time for a 3 year old toddler. But not worth paying 15 dollars extra for materials (toilet paper cardboard roll, a paper plate, a plastic fork, little painting and glitter)

Our daughter really enjoys the varied activities. Her last class (painting) was her favorite.

I thought that things will be different at this new location so I decided to give it a try. The new place still as disorganized as the other place. When it rains the place smells pretty strong since they are located in the basement. Beside Kaytlin and Kirsten I do not recommend the other counselors there. The projects are fun, but the place is pretty costly for what the kids get. Overall the place is a good concept but needs lots of improvement.

The place is an unorganized mess. One teacher/owner, in particular, is unpleasant at best. The art supplies for the younger classes looked like they were scraped together from yard sales- computer paper from the 1980s and circles awkwardly cut from leftover cardboard to paint color wheels. I am all for recycling, but if that is the case, why are people being charged a materials fee on top of the instructional fee? Such potential. Disappointing.
