Remember the trains outside are mostly the museum. Not much inside except some videos to watch and some model trains behind glass.

Lots of "real" trains to look inside and explore. The kids had a blast. It is the best train museum in CO!

I would say go on Saturday when the train is running and all the other stuff is going! It is ok on week day but not nearly as much fun for the children!

There is a basement component that we completely missed the first time. It wasn't pointed out to us the first time. The kids loved that part of the museum.
