My kids have enjoyed this place from ages 5-9. The museum is fun but not overwhelming, the shuttle tour drivers are knowledgeable and friendly and my kids enjoy sifting a bag of minerals on summer visits as a special treat (discounted with a membership!).

I took my 8 yr. old and 11 yr. old granddaughters and we had a great time. The tour director was very informative and answered all questions in an easy-to-understand way. They enjoyed looking at the gift shop and learning about the rocks and minerals there, too.
