About South Philly Cheese Steaks

After years of living away from his native Philadelphia, John Pinelli identified a problem: He couldn't find cheesesteak as good as the ones from home. Armed with determination and a love of hoagies, he decided to bring the tastes of his hometown to Colorado, opening South Philly Cheese Steaks.

There, a deliberately bare-bones menu offers up cheesesteaks and subs with an eye toward authentic Philly style. John doesn't forget dessert, either, offering Tastykakes and milkshakes to satisfy sweet teeth.
