My tips for others is to make sure you wear the proper boots and to have bug spray on hand.

These horses are well cared for. They keep their trails free of debris and when the trail cannot be opened due to weather they take other trails and don't cause any undue problems that could occur. They think of safety first. The ride is quite enjoyable.

Dealing with Five Star Ranch was an excellent experience. The manager Liana helped clarify any questions we had before our session. Liana was also out guide on the trail and she was a great host. Very knowledgeable, very personable, she made the hour fly by. I am no expert but it was clear that the ranch was well maintained. The horses were also extremely well trained, this was very comforting since this our first ride. I would recommend Five Star Ranch to anyone and we will be going back!

It was a great time! Friendly and fun environment and people! Will definitely be back for lessons! I feel completely confident that in their facility and training.
