What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?

Our cozy studio environment and friendly teachers make everyone feel welcome and comfortable, whether new to yoga or established yogis. The positive energy and friendly rapport between students and teachers draws people in and keeps them coming back.

Exercise is challenging. How do you keep clients motivated and engaged?

Exercise is only a small part of yoga and our students learn how the combination of breath, meditation and physical practice works to improve our overall health and well-being. When our students discover for themselves how much better they feel after a class, they don't want to stop.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?

The owner, Jen, believes it was her dharma to create a yoga studio in the space that became Gulfport Yoga. A lifelong entrepreneur and risk-taker, Jen followed her intuition that was pointing towards this new path and mission. Everything just fell into place and the end result seemed inevitable.

What do you love most about your job?

Helping people to find peace, free themselves from pain - whether physical or mental - and begin to awaken to the transformational power of authentic yoga is a strong motivation to teach and grow as a yogi and teacher.
