Ceviche Street, Hallandale4.38707 reviewsAbout Ceviche Street
Nestled between train tracks and a smattering of mechanics' shops in Hallandale Beach, there's a Peruvian restaurant that one New Times blogger wrote "might just be [the area's] best-kept secret." The spot has stayed somewhat under the radar since opening, mostly because of its unassuming exterior. But the secret is getting out thanks to regulars who can no longer keep mum about the fresh ceviches, rich risottos, and other vibrant Peruvian dishes served at Ceviche Street.
Those dishes are the handiwork of Segio Riglos. Born in Lima, Peru, Segio spent years chopping, slicing, and karate-chopping ingredients in New York City kitchens before moving to Florida to study at Le Cordon Bleu. Now, visitors to Ceviche Street. reap the tasty benefits of all his experience as they savor traditional tiraditos and ceviches as well as creative riffs on Peruvian classics such as pork fried rice and broiled scallops with butter parmesan.
