Great trip, it was a beautiful river with plenty of nature to soak in for a couple hours, will be headed back there after winter :)

We loved our experience. Just wanted me visual assistance from the staff. Lots of work when stuck on rocks or drifting towards fallen trees. Other than a few hiccups one of the most relaxing experience.

If you are getting the canoe or the kayaks, keep in mind that the river is 7 miles long. You don't necessarily have to be athletic, but realize that it'll take you longer than you think. Also, there are no markers as to how far you are in the river.

Book an early or mid day time and take your time on the river. We reserved for 10 and didn't get out of the water until 5. We had a great time, well worth it.

A great afternoon with our family on the river! If tubing with younger children you might want to bring straps to tie their tube to yours (your arms can get tired of holding on) - but not necessary as it is a very calm ride.
