About Keney Golf Course

At Keney Golf Course, players follow an emerald track chiseled into the heavily wooded terrain of the 694-acre Keney Park. Devereaux Emmet and Alfred M. Tull unveiled their course design in 1927, inviting golfers to challenge their skills on the 18-hole, 6,014-yard layout. Along the way, golfers encounter an intersecting stream, dense forest groves, and a cemetery that borders several holes, but none of the quicksand bunkers incorporated by the original architects.

long grass even if fairways. green burnt out and bare. weedy sandpits and all over. sprinklers came on with people on greens.

The course appears to be going out of business. A number of the greens are dead and many fairways have been overrun by crabgrass and other weeds...and poorly cut. It's a shame given what a gem of a traditional style course it is.

It was not taken care of at all, the attendants lets say they weren't, never cleaned out golf cart or even came out to make sure we got one, their interest was in beers and the tv, it could be a great course if taken care of and had employees that were employees, sad to say not going back.

This was the worst golf course that I've played in. There were no fairways and the greens were more a dry patch with a hole. Will never play there again.
