About Portalupi Wine

Portalupi Wine is a family business in more ways than one. Founders (and childhood pals) Tim Borges and Jane Portalupi married in 2001 and opened their winery just a year later, working together to build it into the thriving business it is today. Their inspiration: their Nonna, Marina Portalupi, who brought her skills and love for winemaking when she emigrated from Italy. Marina's passion for wine can be tasted in every single bottle of Portalupi—especially the Vaso di Marina, which is bottled in milk jugs just as Nonna used to do in Italy. The welcoming tasting room similarly celebrates Nonna's belief that wine is best enjoyed while surrounded by family, friends, and hundreds of other bottles of wine.
