The certified flight instructors at M Flight School fuel the aeronautical dreams of aspiring pilots through instruction on the ground and in the cockpits of training aircraft. Students take off from Hemet-Ryan Airport and steer a Cessna 152, 162, or 172 around the wide-open airspace nearby, which sees less traffic than most other airports, so students can spend more time practicing and less time waiting at stop lights. The school offers training courses for earning private and sport pilot's licenses as well as instrument ratings, though first-timers typically start off with a Discovery Flight to get a taste of flying.

Great time at flight school! Our instructor Joe was patient, very helpful, and an overall blast. Great guy and great school. We're planning our next trip!

As a high-time but older non-current pilot ( changed career path mid-stream ), I am exploring getting into personal recreational flying since I retired. The CFI / owner named Joseph M. was great. I would recommend him. We flew over to French Valley airport & did some touch-&-goes, then returned to Hemet field for some pattern work. I am satisfied with their aircraft quality & upkeep. The only negative was that their stable of equipment currently lacks low wing aircraft such as Piper. For a beginning student pilot or just a "here's a gift card to fly" type person, this makes no difference. As a commercial pilot ( SEL, MEL, SES, high-altitude cert by USAF/Edwards & CFI / CFI-I ), with 5,000+ hours, I would recommend this FBO for your Discovery flight.

It was a great experience. Something I've always wanted to do, and this was a very relaxed experience with information on getting a license, but with no sales pressure.
