From the moment we walked in the door everyone was so kind and friendly. Rachel was an amazing instructor!!! She made it an unforgettable discovery flight for my husband who had always dreamed of flying. Hubby is already talking about going back!

If you are looking for a true-hands-on flight lesson then WNC Aviation is your company. The instructor was professional and took her time to instruct in the use of flight controls and the pre-flight checklist. As we were cleared for take off after a Delta Jet, the thrill of being at the controls and pulling back for takeoff was incredible. The flight involved in learning the controls and the concepts of flight (not a sightseeing tour). As we approached AVL for landing, and as I following her instructions I felt that I had truly experienced the experience of flight and being at the controls (safety was always of primary importance), but the experience was a "bucket-list experience".

Plan for later in the day if both weigh over 350 pounds because with the weight of the pilot and the fuel at the beginning of the day, we were over the weight limit so I couldn't go.
