I would recommend either buying a white uniform from the Academy (the day of your first class or before) or purchasing a white uniform somewhere else and begin using the uniform on day one. I recommend purchasing from the Academy becasue the purchase from the Academy applies towards future class tuitions. The long pants are required since the kids are on the mat a lot and this will help protect the knees.

The teachers are great with kids. Very patient, yet stern. My kids enjoy it!

My son Asher had lot of fun. The teacher was great.
