About Taste of Cuba Festival

Per its name, the Taste of Cuba Festival shines a spotlight on traditional Cuban food—potato-like yucca, rice and beans, and lechon asada, or shredded roast pork. Ice-cold mojitos complement these classic dishes, along with café con leche and authentic cigars rolled by hand, unlike the newfangled ones that roll themselves if left at the top of a hill. The festival delights senses beyond taste, too; revelers can dance to live music or feast their eyes on Cuban artwork.

Great location and atmosphere.. definitely will return again next year. My kudos to all that made this event happen. For this being the 1st annual festival it was very family oriented and controlled. Good Job.

Besides the power cut and there was no music for a while it was a pleasant evening with a difference.

The admission fee of $20 did not include anything. If you wanted to "taste" anything, you had to pay for it and the price for tasting was really high. I will not recommend or return to this event.

Boring, small, not enough vendors, food was bad and expensive. We left after a half an hour.

We went on Friday night, it was terribly disorganized and the food was terrible, cold and tasteless, it looked like mom and pop had cooked it at home, nothing professional or sanitary about it. There was a couple when we where arriving that asked for their admission money back! There was nothing to do and no place to sit if you wanted to listen to the music. I really would like a refund if possible.
