About Bon Bicycles

By founding Bon Bicycles, Adam Kurtz is just following his natural inclination to assist those in need. In his free time, when he isn't delivering rental beach cruisers across Hilton Head Island, Adam works as a paramedic. He is devoted to helping others, and his business reflects that. A portion of the business's profits goes to Hope in the Light, a mission in Boucan, Haiti, committed to providing safe living conditions, clean water, nutritious food, and an education for the children in their orphanage and school.

Adam helps out his clients by making the rental process as simple as possible. Customers reserve a HHWheels beach cruiser and arrange to have it delivered anywhere on Hilton Head Island at any time of any day. A week later, a Bon Bicycles representative picks the bike up. Five sizes of bike are available, from attachable trail-a-bikes up to full Adult models. Youth sizes and above come with a basket, and renters receive a combination lock for every two bikes to keep them from being stolen or to help them, maybe, fall in love.
